Structure of Programme(s) |

The mode of attendance is full-time. |
2.2 |
The duration of study leading to the degree of BSc is three academic years. |
2.3 |
This programme of study may include lectures, seminars, tutorials, report writing and practical work. |
2.4 |
A full honours programme consists of 180ECTS/360CATS, 60ECTS/120CATS to be taken in each year of study. |
2.5 |
In the first year, students can choose two optional modules. Year 2 of the programme consists only of core modules and in year 3 students can choose six optional modules, of which a minimum of four must be Psychology modules. |
2.6 |
Candidates may back track or forward track a level for up to 15ECTS/30 CATS provided the minimum credit requirements at each level are met. |

6.1 |
Students will have the opportunity to participate in the Study Abroad/Erasmus exchange scheme in the first semester of Part III of the programme of study. |
6.2 |
Students have the opportunity to participate in the Voluntary Research Assistant Scheme and the Department of Psychology's Summer Work Placement Scheme. |

7.1 |
Students are required to satisfy the academic and the Attendance and Completion of Programme Requirements as set out in section IV of the University calendar, the programme specification and the programme handbook. Those failing to do so may have their programme terminated (see University Calendar Section IV: Transfer, Suspension, Withdrawal and Termination). |
