Repeat: The repeat of a dissertation shall normally mean the setting aside of the original dissertation topic. |

At the end of Part 1, for students studying Geography with Oceanography or Geography with Geology, it may be possible to transfer to the BSc Geography programme, subject to place availability. At the end of Part 1 it may be possible to transfer from a single honours BSc to the BA Geography programme subject to place availability. |

Students on Geography and Environment programmes may participate in an exchange programme to an overseas country. The marks achieved during the exchange will be included in the final degree class aggregate. |

Students are required to satisfy the academic and the Attendance and Completion of Programme Requirements as set out in section IV of the University calendar, the programme specification and the programme handbook. Those failing to do so may have their programme terminated (see University Calendar Section IV: Transfer, Suspension, Withdrawal and Termination). |
