Admissions |

1.1 |
For admission to any programme candidates must satisfy the Regulations for Admission to Degree Programmes as specified in Section IV of the University Calendar. |
1.2 |
Specific information regarding the level of English proficiency required for each programme is included in the prospectus and on the Management School Website. |
1.3 |
All individuals are selected and treated on their relative merits and abilities in line with the University’s Equal Opportunities Policy. Disabled applicants will be treated according to the same procedure as any other applicant with the added involvement of the Enabling Services Office to assess their needs. |

2. |
Structure of Programme(s) |

2.1 |
Programmes are taken on a full time basis over a three, or four year period. |
2.2 |
The degree consists of three levels of study with a mixture of core, compulsory and optional modules at all levels. Optional modules are normally chosen in consultation with the personal tutor and are subject to availability. Students must select their options for each semester of study before the options deadline. |
2.3 |
Students studying BSc International Marketing will normally undertake study abroad for one year following the second year of study. |
2.4 |
Students studying BSc Marketing with Placement and BSc Accounting & Finance with Placement will undertake an industrial placement for one year following the second year of study. |

6.1 |
Study abroad or exchanges may be available for certain programmes: please refer to Programme handbooks. |
6.2 |
Students studying BSc International Marketing are required to pass the year of study abroad as determined by the Institution of Study to progress to the final year of the programme. |
6.3 |
Students studying BSc Marketing with Placement and BSc Accounting & Finance with Placement are required to satisfy the requirements of the industrial placement year to progress to the final year of the programme. Students failing the industrial placement year will be transferred to the relevant three year Programme, without placement. |

7.1 |
These regulations may be revised during the student's period of registration in accordance with the procedures approved by Senate. |
7.2 |
Students are required to satisfy the academic and the Attendance and Completion of Programme Requirements as set out in section IV of the University calendar, the programme specification and the programme handbook. Those students failing to do so may have their course terminated (see University Calendar Section IV: Transfer, Suspension, Withdrawal and Termination). |
7.3 |
Ethics Committee approval and risk assessments must be completed where required. |
