University Calendar 2014/15 Section III : The Ordinances of the University Part 6 : Members of the University, Friends and Alumni

1.	There shall be an organisation of Officers, Staff, Graduates and Friends of the University, the constitution and functions of which shall be prescribed by Ordinance.
2.	The aims of the organisation shall be: To provide a link between past and present members of the University and the Friends of the University, and a channel by which such links can be expanded. To assist in the development and promotion of the University. To provide information about the University to assist members of the Society in acting as 'ambassadors' for the University. To establish and support such other branches, groups or other bodies with compatible aims as shall be deemed appropriate.
