Admissions |

Students are admitted to Leeds University for their first year of study. Thereafter students may transfer to Southampton or remain registered at Leeds. Students may enter the course in January, April, July or October.
The normal entry requirement is a good honours degree in an appropriate subject. Suitable First of Upper Second Class equivalent qualifications would be considered for overseas/mature candidates, and applications are welcomed from those with relevant work experience.
In addition, students must have access to a personal computer at home or work with the following minimum specification:
- 2.2 GHz Pentium 4, Core Duo, or Xeon Processor (or higher)
- 2GB memory
- 60GB hard disk
- A broadband connection
The remaining parts of these regulations apply to Southampton registered students only. Leeds registered students should refer to that University's regulations.
Where modules completed by a student at other places of learning are considered to be equivalent to a relevant module of the programme (in accordance with the University's regulations on credit transfer) the University may permit such a student to qualify for the degree by following such a programme of study and completing such examinations as it shall specify.
All individuals are selected and treated on their relative merits and abilities in line with the University's Equal Opportunities Policy. Disabled applicants will be treated according to the same procedure as any other applicant with the added involvement of the Enabling Services Office to assess their needs. |
