Standing Committee of Council
Terms of reference
- To act on behalf of Council between meetings of Council, and to report on all major decisions so taken.
- Where necessary, to authorise action in relation to individual personnel matters, and to individual contractual and financial matters within agreed University policy and budgets.
- To undertake such other duties as Council may decide.

Note:
The Registrar and Chief Operating Officer will normally be present at meetings. The Pro Vice-Chancellors will not be expected to attend meetings routinely, except where their attendance is required in respect of the business under discussion.
The committee is convened as needed for the conduct of business.
