Admissions requirements will be as stated in Section IV of the University Calendar (General Regulations), the programme specification and the University Prospectus. |

Structure of Programme(s) |
|
The degree is available for full-time study, with the normal duration being four years. Refer to the Programme Specifications and the Chemistry website for further details such as modules (core, compulsory and optional), curriculum content and assessment.
In each year students will take certain compulsory core modules and a selection of approved optional modules to give a minimum of 120 CP of study. |

Progression |
|
The detailed rules governing academic progression on, and transfer between, degrees are as indicated in the University Calendar Section IV. In order to progress from Part II to Part III of the programme MNatSci, students are required to obtain an overall aggregate mark of 55%.
You must declare which subject is your major by the end of semester 1 of your second year and will not be allowed to change this after this date without the permission of the Natural Sciences Programme Coordinator. This is to allow sufficient time for planning of staffing levels for your project(s) in year 3 (and year 4). |

Assessment |

The performance of candidates will be assessed by the Board of Examiners in accordance with the regulations governing examinations for the relevant programme(s) of study. |

These regulations may be revised during the student's period of registration in accordance with the procedures approved by Senate.
Candidates are required to satisfy the academic and attendance requirements of the programme as laid out in the Programme Specification and the Student Handbook for the programme. Those failing to do so may have their course terminated. |
