Students will also need to comply with the Programme's special requirements and provide evidence that they have done so. These are: |

(a) |
Undertake 50 hours of personal therapy with a University Approved Therapist (provided at the student's own expense). |
|
|
(b) |
Complete 100 hours of supervised counselling practice (arranged by the student with the Programme Co-ordinator's approval; this approval is normally withheld until successful completion of the Real and Reparative Relationships module but exceptions to this rule can be made if counselling competence can be demonstrated early by other approved forms of evidence). |

(c) |
Complete 12 hours of consultative supervision with an approved supervisor from the lisst held by the Diploma Co-ordinator. |

In addition, a minimum 80% attendance at the Personal Development Groups is a prerequisite for the award. This 80% requirement applies to each appropriate module except in exceptional circumstances. |
