1. The Dean of each Faculty shall be appointed from among the members of the Academic Staff of the Faculty by the Council on the nomination of the Vice-Chancellor following consultation with Senate.
   

    

2. The Dean shall hold office for such period and (subject to Section 31) upon such conditions as to re-appointment or otherwise as shall from time to time be prescribed by Ordinance.
   

    

3. The Dean shall be ex officio a member of the Board of each School in the Faculty.
