MOLECULAR CELL BIOLOGY
1. Programme Requirements
A-level: passes in two science subjects. If Chemistry is not offered at A-level then it must be offered at AS-level.
Core and Compulsory Units (core units in bold)
First year: BIOL1007; BIOL1008; BIOL1011; BIOL1013; BIOL1006 and either CHEM1002 and CHEM1007 or CHEM1003 and CHEM1009 or CHEM1011 and CHEM1014.

MASTER OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES (MBiomedSci) (4years)
1. Programme Requirements
A-level: Normally passes in two science subjects. If Chemistry is not offered at A-level then it must be offered at AS level.
Core and Compulsory Units (core units in bold)
First year: BIOL1006; BIOL1007; BIOL1008; BIOL1011; BIOL1013; and either CHEM1002 and CHEM1007 or CHEM1003 and CHEM1009 or CHEM1011 and CHEM1014; one other approved unit
Second year: You will take the following 4 courses of Biochemistry and Physiology, of which one Biochemistry (BIOL2010 or BIOL2011) and one Physiology (BIOL2014 or BIOL2015) are core; ie: two core courses (30 CP) and two compulsory (30 CP): BIOL2010; BIOL2011; BIOL2014; BIOL2015; four other approved units. Either BIOL2010 or BIOL2011, and either BIOL2014 or BIOL2015, must be passed and will be regarded as core units.
Third year: BIOL3016, BIOL3026 and BIOL30315/BIOL3032; four approved BIOL3 units.
