BSc (Hons) Applied Social Sciences (Anthropology) (1583)


Year 1 is common ot all Applied Social Science students irrespective of pathway. You take the two core course units plus two further course units in Sociology and Psychology. You then select four options from a choice of course units in Anthropology, Criminology, Sociology and Psychology. At Years 2 and 3 you are required to take the core and pathway course units plus a selection from the optional course units, subject to availability. Core course units are course units which all Applied Social Science students take irrespective of pathway, and must be passed in order to progress to the next year. Compulsory course units must be taken, but as long as sufficient credit points and an average pass across eight course units has been achieved, the successful completion of these particular course units may not be a pre-requisite to progression.
