Eight subjects will be studied and examined as follows:
1. Year 1
Semester one:
MATH1018*, STAT1007
+ 1 approved Economics unit (ECON1001 (without A level) or ECON1003) (with A level)
+ 1 unit from MANG1003, PHIL1008, POLI1001,INTR1002, PSYC1001, SOCI1001,SOCI1003, Modern Language (either single or double)
*may be numbered STAT1008
Semester two:
STAT1002, STAT1005
+ ECON1002
+ 1 unit from MANG1004, ECON1004, PHIL1006, POLI1002, INTR1001, PSYC1002, PSYC1003, SOCI1002, SOCI1004, HIST1026, Modern Language (either single or double)
2. Year 2
Semester one:
ECON2001, ECON2006, STAT2008
Semester two:
ECON2002, ECON2007, STAT2010
+ Up To 2 units from Social Sciences list (excluding Economics).
NOTE: Only 2 units from Social Sciences (excluding Economics) may be taken in Years 2 and 3 combined.
+ remaining units from ECON2** list, MANG2001 MANG2004, MANG2005 MANG2008, MANG2014 (if MANG1004 not taken), Modern Language (either single or double).
3. Year 3
Semester one:
ECON3008, STAT3001
Semester two:
ECON3007 OR ECON3013
+ 3 units from ECON3014, ECON3016, STAT3004, STAT3010, MANG3019 (if MANG2014 or MANG1004 not taken) + Dissertation/Project (ECON3023 double course unit) OR Project (STAT3006 (Semester 1) OR STAT3022 (both semesters) all of which are equivalent to 2 units.
OR Contemporary Problems (EC390), OR STAT3020 (Semester 1) OR STAT3021 (Semester 2) all of which are equivalent to 1 unit + 1 unit from Social Sciences list (excluding MANG* or ECON units) (subject to not more than 2 units being taken in years 2 and 3 overall).
