You must take the core units. Then you choose units from Anthropology, Psychology and/or Sociology, making a total of eight units per level (including core units). You may also take up to four units at Level 1 and up to two units at Levels 2 and 3, from outside the programme, subject to availability. Core units are units which all Applied Social Sciences students take, irrespective of pathway, and must be passed in order to progress to the next level. Compulsory units must be taken but as long as sufficient credit points and an average pass across eight units has been achieved, the successful completion of these particular units may not be a pre-requisite for progression.
