Section 7: The Deputy Vice-Chancellors

  1. The Deputy Vice-Chancellors shall be appointed by the Council after consideration of a Report from the Senate from among those members of the Academic Staff who are or have been members of the Senate.

  2. The Deputy Vice-Chancellors shall hold office for such periods and (subject to Section 31) upon such conditions as shall from time to time be prescribed by Ordinance.
