Accounting and Economics
- In the first year (Part I) eight subjects will be studied and examined as follows:
- Semester one:
- AM103, AM101, an approved Economics unit and an approved Quantitative Methods unit.
- Semester two:
- AM102, an approved Economics unit, an approved Quantitative Methods unit and one subject selected from other Social Sciences units.
- Year 2 (revised regulations may apply from 2002/3)
- Semester one:
- AM203, AM205,EC221 and one option selected from:
AM201, AM207, AM227, EC semester one lists.
- Semester two:
- AM204, AM206,EC222 and one subject selected from:
AM202, AM 208, AM214, EC semester two lists.
Either semester instead of listed option: One unit from any other permitted Social Sciences list.
- Year 3
- Semester one:
- EC363, AM303
- Both semesters:
- Dissertation/Project (two units) (AM/EC398/399) or Contemporary Problems Dissertation or Paper (one unit) (AM/EC390) plus one (and only one) unit from EC362, EC367, EC368, one unit from Social Sciences list (including AM or EC units and FC 301/2 from Science list); plus 2 units from AM or EC list (if Dissertation/project chosen), or 3 units from AM or EC list (if Contemporary Problems chosen). A minimum of 6 EC units and 6 AM units (excluding Dissertation, Project and Contemporary Problems) to be taken over two years.
