Politics and Law (last entry 2000/01)

1. The taking of this course will provide exemption for completion of the Academic Stage of Training. To qualify for exemption under the Law Society/Bar Council rules, students must pass all Law courses and may be required to do so in the year in which they are taken.

2. Year 2

   Semester one:

   PO251, either PO207 or PO203

   Semester two:

   PO252, ST222

   Both semesters:

   In Law students will take: LW105, LW102, LW205

3. Year 3

   Semester one:

   Two Politics units

   Both semesters:

   In Law students will take both: LW203, LW204

4. As part of the final examination candidates shall also be required to submit a dissertation on an approved topic in Politics (PO398/399) by a date to be specified, which shall count as one unit in each semester of the third year.
