   A level German or a equivalent

2. Unit courses
   Year 1: HI122, HI123, 2 from HI134, HI130, HI131, HI137, HI129; GE193 or GE194, one set of ML/GE linked units (2 units in total)
   Year 2: 2 double units from: HI246, HI244, HI200, EN22A, GE256, HI233, HI243; GE194 or GE195, 1 GE unit, 1 GE/ML unit
   Year 3: GE399 (project)
   Year 4: Either one from HI314, HI346, HI345, HI383, HI344, HI343 or EN130 and HI399 or HI347 and HI399; GE196 or GE197, 1 GE unit, 1 GE/ML unit
   

3. Special requirements
   Year 3 will be spent abroad in a country where the language is spoken nationally.
