1. Course Requirements
   A-level Spanish or equivalent and A-level History.

2. Unit courses
   Year 1: SP193 or SP194; one set of ML/SP linked units (2 units in total); HI118 or HI119; HI120 or HI121; two HI units one of which must relate to the pre-1750 period
   Year 2: SP194 or SP195 2 appropriate SP units 4 HI units
   Year 3: SP399 (project)
   Year 4: SP196/7 as appropriate 6 other units including at least 2 HI units and at least 2 appropriate SP units

3. Special requirements
   Year 3 will be spent in a Spanish-speaking country.
