1. Course Requirements
   A- level Spanish or a good pass at GCSE in a foreign language.

2. Unit courses
   Year 1: SP190 or SP193 or SP194; one set of ML/SP linked units (2 units in total); 4 PO units
   Year 2: SP193 or SP194 or SP195. Up to 2 Spanish units, PO253, PO203, PO211, up to 1 Politics unit. One SP unit may be replaced by an ML unit
   Year 3: SP399 (project)
   Year 4: SP195 or SP196 or SP197, and 2 Spanish units: 4 level 3 Politics units of which one may be a short dissertation in Latin American politics (PO399)

   In each of years 1, 2 and 4 one optional Politics unit may be substituted for one Spanish unit or vice versa.

3. Special requirements
   Year 3 will be spent abroad.
