1. Course Requirments
   A-level History or Economic History or Politics or British Constitution; GCSE pass in Mathematics. Preference will be given to applicants with GCSE passes in a foreign language or Economics.

2. Unit courses
   Year 1: HI118 or HI119; HI120 or HI121; two HI units which must relate to the post-1750 period; PO101, PO102, PO105, PO106
   Year 2: 4 HI units; PO251; PO252, and a choice between PO202, PO203 or PO207
   Year 3: 8 units, to include HI370, and either 3 PO and 4 HI units, or 4 PO and 3 HI units
