1. Course Requirments
   A-level History and GCSE Mathematics. Preference will be given to applicants with GCSE passes in a foreign language or Economics.

2. Unit courses
   Year 1: HI118; HI119; HI120; HI121; two HI units; SS101; SS102, ST107 and one other approved Social Sciences unit
   Year 2: 4 HI units; SS201, 3 SS units
   Year 3: 4 HI units (Special Subject); HI399 or SS398/399 (dissertation approved by the Departments of History and of Sociology and Social Policy); SS301, 1 other SS unit
