1. Course Requirments
   A-level German or equivalent.

2. Unit courses
   Year 1: GE193 or GE194, ML108, GE107, GE108 Either ML106, ML107, ML109 or one of ML106, ML107 ML109 and a double Language unit
   Year 2: GE194 or GE195; ML208 3 Cultural GE units 2 further GE/ML units, one of both of which may be replaced by Alternative Subject units
   Year 3: GE399 (project)
   Year 4: GE196 or 197; Cultural ML unit 3 Cultural GE units, 2 further GE/ML units, one or both of which may be replaced by Alternative Subject units

3. Special requirements
   Year 3 will be spent abroad. (Part-time students will normally be expected to spend a total of 3 months in a country where the language is spoken nationally.
